We offer a range of programs designed and curated to meet your needs, whether it's your first time volunteering or not. The package includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week, accommodation with security, chef and cleaning once a day, airport pick-up and drop-off (Arusha and Kilimanjaro airport), an Orientation Day with town tour and city orientation, 1 pair of scrubs for medical volunteers, 1 T-shirt for non-medical volunteers, and hospital placement assistance.

What is excluded in the price?

The package excludes flights, travel insurance, visa-related costs, hospital and supervision fees, additional fees paid directly to the hospital as per government guidelines (e.g. $50/week), weekend trips and tours, snacks, soft drinks, gifts, and souvenirs.

How much does volunteering cost?

Programs range from 600€ to 2000€ depending on the program type and length of stay. This includes accommodation with security and a chef, three meals a day, airport pick-up and drop-off, orientation, and hospital placement assistance. Flights, visa costs, travel insurance, and hospital fees are excluded.

Placements run from 2 weeks up to 12 weeks or more, and you choose the length that fits your schedule. Longer stays can be arranged on request, and we help you match your placement to the time you have available.

Where exactly do I volunteer?

We offer a variety of areas to volunteer in. Most of our volunteers are placed in Mount Meru Regional Hospital, the regional referral hospital that supports nearly 2.5 million people. We also offer volunteers the ability to assist in numerous different hospitals in the region. Additionally, volunteers can help in local nurseries and schools, teaching children and performing basic medical check-ups.
