Our NGO

Dr Noel founded the Health Community Outreach Program (HCOP) on a simple yet powerful principle: access to healthcare is a fundamental human right. Every person deserves access to quality medical care regardless of where they live or their financial situation.

HCOP provides community-based healthcare services to underserved populations across Tanzania. Through regular outreach programs, our team delivers preventive care, clinical services and health education in communities with limited access to medical facilities, particularly rural areas and children’s homes.

Community Health Services

Our outreach services include:

  • Immunisation programs

  • Screening and monitoring for hypertension (high blood pressure)

  • Diabetes screening through blood glucose testing

  • Basic wound care and infection management

  • Oral health assessments and dental treatment

  • Oral hygiene and dental health education

  • Community health education

  • Health promotion programs in children’s homes and schools

These services support early disease detection, prevention of non-communicable diseases, community health literacy, and other community health initiatives.

Partnerships and Volunteers

HCOP partners with international organisations such as Global Medcare Africa (Japan). We also work with Tanzania-based volunteer organisations, including Medical Connect Africa and Health Mission Africa, welcoming volunteers and trainees who contribute to sustainable, community-focused healthcare programs.

Our Mission

Our mission is to improve health outcomes and enhance the quality of life of communities across Tanzania through accessible healthcare, prevention programs, and community health education.

What began as a passion project has grown into a meaningful platform for community healthcare. We are proud of the progress made so far and remain committed to expanding our impact and reaching even more communities in the years ahead.
