The Health Community Outreach Program (HCOP) is a Tanzania-based non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to healthcare in underserved communities.
Through medical and dental outreach programs, health education, and volunteer initiatives, we bring essential healthcare services directly to rural communities, schools, and children's homes across Tanzania. Our mission is simple: to ensure everyone has the opportunity to receive quality healthcare, regardless of where they live.
Community Health Services
Our team of doctors, dentists, nurses, students, and volunteers provide:
Medical consultations
Blood pressure and diabetes screening
Dental treatment and oral health education
Wound care and basic healthcare services
Community health education
School and children's home outreach programs
Preventive healthcare and health promotion
These services support early disease detection, prevention of non-communicable diseases, community health literacy, and other community health initiatives.
Partnerships and Volunteers
HCOP partners with international organisations such as Global Medcare Africa (Japan). We also work with Tanzania-based volunteer organisations, welcoming volunteers and trainees who contribute to sustainable, community-focused healthcare programs.

Our mission is to improve health outcomes and enhance the quality of life of communities across Tanzania through accessible healthcare, prevention programs, and community health education.
What began as a passion project has grown into a meaningful platform for community healthcare. We are proud of the progress made so far and remain committed to expanding our impact and reaching even more communities in the years ahead.
