This page brings together the documents that govern your participation in a Medical Connect Africa program. Please read them before you book and before you make any payment. Together they form your agreement with us.

Terms and Conditions of Participation

Our main agreement with you. It covers what we provide and what we do not, eligibility, booking and payment, our fees, cancellation and refunds, insurance, your placement and the host institution, conduct, accommodation, assumption of risk and limitation of liability, and governing law.

Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, store and share your personal information, the lawful basis we rely on, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. We process personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 of Tanzania and, where it applies to you, the General Data Protection Regulation.

Safeguarding Policy

Our commitment to protecting children and vulnerable people, the standards of behaviour we expect from volunteers, supervision and boundaries, and how to report a safeguarding concern.

Accepting these documents

You accept these documents by ticking the acceptance box when you book and by paying your program fee. Payment of your program fee confirms that you have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy and the Safeguarding Policy. Please do not make payment until you have read them.
