Medical Connect Africa arranges medical volunteering and placements in Africa for doctors, medical students, dentists, nurses, midwives, physiotherapists and general volunteers. We are based in Arusha, Tanzania, we were founded in 2025 by two local African doctors and two international doctors, and we are fully accredited in Tanzania. Medical Placements in Africa: What We Offer
Our placements are based in Arusha, northern Tanzania, one of East Africa's most welcoming and best connected cities. Most clinical volunteers work at Mount Meru Regional Hospital, the regional referral hospital serving nearly 2.5 million people, across departments including Emergency, Medicine and Surgery. Placements are also available in other regional hospitals, rural outreach clinics, nurseries and schools.

Pricing and Duration
Programs range from 600€ to 2000€ depending on the program type and length of stay. Placements run from 2 weeks up to 12 weeks or more, year round. The price includes accommodation with security and a chef, three meals a day, airport pick-up and drop-off, orientation, scrubs for medical volunteers and full placement assistance. Flights, travel insurance, visa costs and hospital fees are excluded.
